Riders Rescued from Stalled Hulk Coaster

Yesterday, March 25, 2015, at around 5:45pm the Incredible Hulk roller coaster at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure came to a sudden and unexpected halt.  For nearly two and a half hours, at least 12 people were stuck on the stalled coaster waiting for rescue.

The ride came to a halt near  a platform which allowed 20 of the riders to exit immediately and safely utilizing one of the platforms located on the side of the ride.  The remaining 12 were stuck beyond access to the platform forcing them to wait rescue from the Orlando Fire Department.

No injuries were reported and all the passengers were safely recovered from the stalled roller coaster.  While no further information has been reported and Universal has not stated the cause of the stoppage, they are investigating.
