The 7th Annual Minority Mentoring Picnic was held on November 13 and the Orlando personal injury law firm of Wooten Kimbrough assisted with financial support in transporting students to the event.
The picnic which began with just a few students gathering at the University of Miami has grown to a huge event drawing busloads of minority law students from all over the state. This year there was an estimated 2,000, both attorneys and students, who took this opportunity to meet, socialize and enjoy a fabulous meal. It is the hope that many of these introductions will develop into mentoring opportunities for the students to learn from some of the best attorneys in the state.
