IKEA Recalls Crib Mattresses (13 Jan., 2015) IKEA has launched the recall of the subject crib mattresses due to an entrapment risk. The mattresses can create a gab between the mattress and crib ends larger than which is permitted by federal regulations. Thus far two incident have been reported of entrapment, but no injuries associated with the defect. Consumers are encouraged to discontinue use of the mattress if the gap is larger than two fingers width between the crib and mattress.
NPD Recalls Dining Chairs (14 Jan., 2015) The recall is due to the legs of the subject dining chairs being discovered to break unexpectedly presenting a increase risk of injury to consumers.
