Two Deaths in Early Morning Crash

Two women, ages 19 and 20, were killed in an auto accident this morning when their vehicle was struck broadside at the intersection of the ramp from the 408 and Dean Road.  The force of the impact split their vehicle in two and threw the two women from the vehicle who were pronounced dead at the scene.

The man driving the other vehicle, an Infiniti SUV, survived the crash and was take to ORMC.

At first investigators were concerned because a child seat was also thrown from the vehicle.  They used infrared cameras to search for a possible child victim, but did found nothing.

According to reports, the cause of the accident appeared to be a red light runner, but investigators were not sure which vehicle ran the light.
