Police Searching For Hit-And-Run Suspect

Police in Orlando are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run that resulted in a personal injury to a pedestrian in the early hours of October 10, according to The Orlando Sentinel.  The car struck a pedestrian and failed to stop at the intersection of Orange Avenue and Esther Street, according to police reports.  Police are asking for help from the public in searching for a silver or gray compact vehicle involved in the pedestrian accident, likely with damage to the windshield.  The victim was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center and is in serious condition.

The suspect in this case only has dug themselves into a deeper hole by fleeing the scene, even if they were intoxicated at the time of the accident.  What do you think?  Should the driver here be charged with attempted manslaughter?
