‘Perfect Pullup’ Product Recall Due to Fall Injury Hazards

According to Justice News Flash, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) along with Perfect Fitness, have voluntarily recalled the product known as Perfect Pullup’ on February 17th, 2011, due to potential fall injury hazards that may occur when using the product.

Perfect Fitness discovered that the plastic handle of the product may crack, creating potential fall injury hazards for users of the device, which prompted the product recall.

According to the CPSC press release, the Perfect Pullup is “an adjustable height pull-up bar that is installed in a doorway with screw-in holders.” CPSC adds that the “recalled models were manufactured between December 2007 and April 2008,” and that “the recalled handles have a rectangular shape, are silver colored with a red hook, and display the Perfect Pullup logo in white lettering across the top.”

Consumers who have purchased the product should contact Perfect Fitness in order to receive a free replacement kit.
