Orman L. Kimbrough, Jr. has been awarded the Award of Excellence by the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association. Each year the Board of Trustees of the Legal Aid Society recognizes attorneys for their ongoing commitment to pro bono work for the their clients. In the past 20 years Mr. Kimbrough has closed 37 family law cases for clients of the Legal Aid Society.
After receiving the award, Mr. Kimbrough said “It is the privilege of each lawyer to serve his community by providing legal service both directly and indirectly. However, it is more importantly the responsibility of each lawyer to contribute to the community by donating time, talent and resources in private, civic and cultural matters.”
