FHP Seeks Help In Hit n Run Accident

The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for your help in catching a hit and run driver that killed an eight year-old boy.  The victim was thrown from a Ford Expedition that was in a single car accident and then he landed in the middle of I-75 where he was run over.  The only description of the hit and run vehicle was that it was a  “small white car”.

Three other passengers were also thrown from the Expedition when the driver lost control, spun around and crashed into the steel guardrail.  One of the others who were thrown out received serious injuries; the other two received only minor injuries.  Three other people in the SUV who were wearing seatbelts were not injured.

Anyone who knows anything about the small white car that killed the young boy is asked to call FHP at 352-732-1260.
