Dangerous Roads In Florida

Two deaths were the result of a wreck on Florida’s Turnpike yesterday.  This is just the latest reminder of just how dangerous it can be to drive in Florida this weekend.  While we do not know what caused the driver of the vehicle to lose control and roll his truck over the median, we do know that this is an all too common occurrence on our Florida highways.

What is typically called the “Most Dangerous Road in America” I-95 runs the length of Florida and is itself the longest North-South interstate highway in the US.  When you add the tourists who come south the enjoy all that Florida has to offer, you’re adding a dangerous element.  People who are unfamiliar with the highway, and who are possibly being distracted by family in the car can lead increase the likelihood of an accident occurring.

I-4 is the main route to Florida’s theme parks including the Disney Parks and Universal.  With the heavy flow of traffic that is already common on this route added to those unsure of where to get off to reach their destinations, I-4 is a very dangerous road, and attention needs to be paid even if you’re used to driving on it everyday.

If you or someone you know has been involved in an accident on any of Florida’s roads or highways, please contact us.  We specialize in helping those visiting Florida after they were in an accident.  We would be happy to talk to you and help you understand what can be done to help you recover.
