Smooth Industries Recalls children’s Pajamas (8 April, 2015) Smooth Industries recalls children’s Pajamas due to failure to meet the federal flammability standards. The recall includes pajamas made in four styles by Smooth Industries: Ride Smooth, Honda, MX Superstars and Moto X. The pajamas are two-piece sets, which were available online and in authorized Smooth Industries motorcycle and motocross stores nationwide. Although no injuries have been reported consumers are encouraged to stop using the pajamas and return them to Smooth Industries for a credit.

Best Food Inc. Recalls Deer Cumin Powder (6 April, 2015) Best Food Inc. recalls Deer Cumin Powder, available packaged as either 7 oz. or 14 oz., due to discovery that the powder may contain an undeclared allergen, more specifically peanuts. The recalled 7 oz. packages bear the UPC number 714760027497, while the 14 oz. packages bear the UPC number 714760027503. The recalled powder was distributed to retail stores in NY, CT, NJ, MA, PA, DE and VA. Thus far no illnesses have been reported associated with this recall.
Texas Star Nut and Food Co, Inc. Recall Additional Macadamia Nut Products (7 April, 2015) Texas Star Nut and Food Co, Inc. recall additional Macadamia Nut Products due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The recall now includes 14 oz. bags of Nature’s Eats Mustang Island Macadamia Sunrise, 6 oz. bags of Nature’s Eats Natural Macadamia Nuts, and 6 oz. bags of Central Market Natural Macadamia Nuts. Thus far no illnesses have been reports associated with these recalled products.
Blue Bell Creameries Recalls Products Produced in Broken Arrow Oklahoma (7 April, 2015) Blue Bell Creameries recalls Products Produced in Broken Arrow due to Banana Pudding Ice Cream pints testing positive for Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled products are distributed to retail outlets, food service accounts, convenience stores and markets in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wyoming. Thus far no illnesses associated with the recalled products have been reported, but consumers are advised to remain aware that the products subject to this recall could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious symptoms and health risks.
La Guadalupana Recalls Shelf Food Products (8 April, 2015) La Guadalupana recalls Shelf Food Products in the Midwest, more specifically Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. The recall is due to an undeclared allergen, eggs. The recall includes Hot Chicken, Hot Pork, and Salsa Verde Vegan tamales.
World Wide Gourmet Foods Recalls Teriyaki Salmon Jerky (8 April, 2015) World Wide Gourmet Foods recalls Teriyaki Salmon Jerky due to undeclared allergens, more specifically wheat and soy. The recall includes Central Market Smoked Salmon Jerky, which was distributed to H.E.B. retail stores in Texas between 2/27/15 and 4/3/2015. The recalled jerky bears the UPC number 0 41220 34270 9 and the best by date 08/25/2015. Thus far no illnesses have been reported associated with this recall.
