Attorney Nicholas Primrose Addresses Recent Graduates

On Friday, May 22, 2015, the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law held its commencement ceremony for the Class of 2015. Among the crowd was our attorney, Nicholas Primrose, who attended as part of the Dean’s Party as the President of the Barry Law Alumni Chapter. Ninth Circuit Court Judge Alice L. Blackwell was the commencement speaker. After the graduates had their traditional doctoral hoods placed, Mr. Primrose was honored to speak to the newest Barry Law Alums. His speech stressed the importance of remaining close with your fellow classmates and reminiscing throughout the years about the memories made during law school. He shared memories he has from his time as a law student and certain classes and subjects. Attorney Primrose Published in Barry Law Review

Attorney Primrose Coaches Teams to Finals and Final Four at AAJ Regionals

On March 19-22nd, 2015, our attorney, Nicholas Primrose, had two teams competing at the prestigious American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition for Barry University, School of Law Trial Team. One group of students competed at the Ft. Lauderdale regional and the other at the Atlanta regional. Each regional hosted 16 teams competing from law schools across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Virginia. Both teams had very great results, advancing out of the preliminary rounds. This case packet involved a products liability claim where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The claim was that the auto manufacturer created a dangerous product by allowing text messages to be read while driving, causing the driver to be distracted by the technology. The Ft. Lauderdale team was made up of advocates, Luis Herrera and Jaime Smeriglio (3Ls), and witnesses, Niki Metzgar-Schall and Will Sepulveda (1Ls) (pictured to the left). This team…
