Cabell Woman Sues National Tire & Battery for Personal Injury

According to the West Virginia Record, a woman is suing National Tire & Battery for personal injury after she was injured at its Barboursville property.

Melissa Mynes claims she was on the property in September for the purpose of purchasing tires for her vehicle. Mynes claims she tripped over a defect in the concrete sidewalk and suffered physical injuries that required medical attention, the court documents claim.

The National Tire & Battery incident location may have had a hazardous condition, according to the suit. The plaintiff alleges the defendant was negligent in permitting this hazard and failed to maintain its premises in a safe condition.

Mynes claims she incurred hospital and medical bills. She is seeking compensatory damages in the Cabell Circuit Court.
