Florida Man Sues Julian Assange and WikiLeaks

Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, has his hands busy with several legal systems and court appearances. Assange may need to add the Florida court system to his next stop, as a Florida man is suing him for personal injury.

David Pitchford, of Key West, fired off a formal complaint and paid $350 to sue Assange and Wikileaks for $150 million. Pitchford alleges Assange and Wikileaks disclosure of secret government documents caused intentional infliction of emotional distress and endangered the plaintiff, as well as every person of the United States and the entire plant.

A self-written complaint consists of bad spelling and interesting allegations. In the four-page document, Pitchford continues with allegations that he suffered serious personal injury, worsening of hypertension, depression and stress. Pitchford claims he is living in fear of another heart attack or stroke because of Wikileaks disclosures and fear of being on the brink of nuclear war.

Pitchford is asking for $150 million as he fears the U.S. will run out of money and it will diminish the Medicaid benefits on which he depends. He is asking the court holds Assange and Wikileaks accountable for the cost and that the court forbids them from further leaks of confidential government cables.
